Working people everywhere share common goals - “An Injury to One

As public sector workers, we want to build linkages with
communities in developing countries.
The Social Justice Fund supports exchanges, direct funding to
development projects in education, health, water and combating poverty and
emergency and humanitarian aid to those most vulnerable in Africa, the Caribbean
and Latin America and Asia.
OPSEU members are able to get involved in the Social Justice
Fund through education, exchanges and fundraising.
The Criteria
for OPSEU Social Justice Fund Project Proposals is available now for
members and locals who may be interested.

3, 2008 From February 16 - 27, Sandra Snider, Executive Board Member for
Region 7, and Chair of the OPSEU Social Justice Fund joined a tour sponsored by
the Horizons of Friendship in Cobourg. The goal of the tour was to visit small
community projects, one of them supported by OPSEU’s fund through Horizons.
