workshop on using our health and safety rights to mobilize collectively against

and Benson Street) Meeting Room: Salon A.

Nearly one in five violent
incidents happen in the workplace, according to Statistics Canada.
The Community Services
Divisional Council is launching a campaign to end workplace violence. The
Community Services Division includes the following sectors: developmental
services, children’s aid societies, child and family services, child care,
community agencies, youth corrections, and child treatment centres.
We will hold regional workshops
this spring on enforcing workers’ right to a safe workplace. In order to prepare
for these workshops, we need your help.
