care
workers
Our
workplaces
are
ranked
among
the
highest
for risk
of
violence
by the
Ministry
of
Labour.
The
Health
Care
Divisional
Council
has
launched
a
campaign
on
workplace
violence
–
starting
with
workshops
that our
members
have
been
asking
for.
These
workshops
build on
the
HCDC’s
work to
pressure
employers
and
government
to take
meaningful
steps in
reducing
workplace
violence,
including
this
spring’s
lobby at
Queen’s
Park.

hall meeting

Divisional Council provides an umbrella for OPSEU’s seven health care Divisions:
Ambulance Division,
Community Health Care Professionals Division,
Hospital Professionals Division,
Health Care/Support Division,
Long Term Care Facilities Division,
Mental Health Division,
Canadian Blood Services and Diagnostics
The Council
provides a forum for sharing information on issues that affect more than
one Division and for developing common strategies and approaches.
