Strikes continue – Donations welcome!

June 29, 2007 As striking developmental services workers in London, Chatham, St. Thomas and Strathroy prepare for their second week on the picket lines, the generosity of OPSEU members and friends making donations in solidarity is appreciated. Those wishing to help may send funds to the following addresses:

Local 144, Community Living London

Donations may be sent care of Deb Morphew, 579 Classic Drive, London, On, N5W 5X9, payable to OPSEU Local 144 Strike Support (450 members, main picket location, 1655 Trafalgar Road, London).

Local 144, Middlesex Community Living

Donations may be sent care of Deb Morphew, 579 Classic Drive, London, On, N5W 5X9, payable to OPSEU Local 144 Strike Support (115 members - main picket location, 82 Front Street, Strathroy).

Local 144 units have made the decision to pool strike support donations for their combined membership of 565 members

Local 151, Elgin Association for Community Living

Donations may be sent care of Annie Robert, 177 Manitoba Street, St. Thomas, On, N5P 3A5, payable to OPSEU Local 151 Strike   Support (215 members Main picket location, 300 Talbot Street, St. Thomas).

Local 148, Community Living Chatham Kent

Donations may be sent care of Wayne Easterbrook, Unit #1,57 St. Anthony Street, Chatham, On, N7M 3Y2, payable to OPSEU Local 148 Strike Support (227 members - main Picket location, 650 Riverview Drive, Chatham).
